Well, from what I've been vegetarian for a while, almost two years. . I eat fairly healthy, but really want to lose weight, I'm almost 90 kilos overweight. I've been drinking, and exercise, but does anyone know of a good vegetarian diet plan for weight loss that could be combined with exercise. From what I can say … Does not matter if you are vegetarian or not, the same strategies will work for meat eaters or not. The only difference is the way to get your protein. Good vegetarian sources of protein and healthy include beans and legumes (including hummus and lentils), soy (including tofu and endame) nuts and seeds (such as nut butters, just be careful with the sugar content of some brands) , eggs and dairy products. These are less dense than meat so you need to eat more to get the same amount of protein in a smaller portion of meat. However, they are generally lower in fat than meat (especially saturated fat and cholesterol). You have to cut sweets, fried foods, processed junk foods and fast foods. Eat lots of different fruits and vegetables with every meal and as snacks instead of chips, cookies, crackers, bars, etc. You will be surprised how many vegetarians do not actually eat much fresh produce because they eat processed foods goals. An easy way to limit calories, while still receiving a balanced diet is to divide the plate into four parts. First fill half your plate with vegetables. The rooms are for other lean protein and healthy carbohydrates. Do not have seconds. If you're hungry between meals, eat a fruit or cut vegetables with plain yogurt (with fresh fruit or berries if desired), hummus, or a handful of nuts or tablespoon of nut butter. That will give you a balanced meal.
